Archie Vetter is a self-made, accomplished mortgage broker who has spent over a decade building strong relationships with banks and real estate agents, allowing him to provide highly competitive rates for his clientele.

Known for his personable demeanor, Archie will always choose face-to-face meetings over conference calls—yet whenever clients need advisement, he’ll respond quickly, regardless of the hour. Growing up, he wanted to be a teacher, which explains this ability to walk clients through their loan processes step-by-step, with patience and guidance. 

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in education at Eastern Illinois University, Archie turned his attention to the financial market. Even though he had little industry experience at the time, he was recruited as an account executive at Wilmington Finance and taught himself the trade through hands-on experience. Throughout college Archie pitched for a NCAA Division I baseball team, so his ability to focus and perfect his skill through hard work should not come as a surprise.

Now, 16 years later, Archie earned the reputation of being a heavy hitter in the mortgage finance industry. With his expertise and self-determination, it’s no wonder he has closed thousands of loans since his start at Midwest Lending Corporation. Although he’s since retired his baseball jersey, when he’s not closing deals, Archie enjoys playing softball with friends in a recreation league.

Archie, his wife Karen, and son Parker now live in the Western Suburbs, after living in Chicago for 15yrs.
